At GoDigital-Dental we work with most types of implant systems using digital technology to generate a 3D image on screen before we design the restoration.
A verification jig is then constructed for large span cases followed by a PMMA Prototype to try-in. This technique is predictable and confirms accuracy of fit.
For implants placed at difficult angles we can use Angled Screw Channel (ASC) Ti-bases for correction of up to 30 degrees. This makes most of our work screw retainable and retrievable.
For Titanium and Zirconia custom abutments and bars or beams we will design and then export the design to an external milling centre as a high level of accuracy is critical and requires the best industrial machinery.
Planning and manufacture are a team effort involving experienced technicians and dentists, with implant dentistry specifically, a variety of treatment options are always available from our experienced lab techs who are able to provide options to the dentist and recommend the best solution.
We find that most cases can now be completed using intra oral scans and are happy to discuss how you would benefit from this digital workflow.
